Description
As vintages go, 2010 helped to break a long drought we experienced in the Yarra Valley. It delivered exceptional fruit as we were still healing from the shock and despair of the Black Saturday bushfires the year before.
Thankfully many wineries were able to get back on their feet and look ahead with hope and promise with what was a very good vintage for the region.
Nearly 11 years later, we look to this year’s vintage with the same promise of hope for a better year ahead after the pandemic of 2020.
I hope you reward yourself for all the challenges we’ve endured with this beautiful wine. It is full, rich, silky and smooth. The blackberry, plum and blackcurrant flavours persist with a good lick of liquorice, pepper, rich spices and soft enduring tannins which gives it a lovely shape and mouthfeel.
You’ll feel wrapped up in comfort with this deliciously developed syrah wine.
