Wine Reviews:

94/100 – Hand-picked, 100% whole bunch, 4 days on skins, foot-stomped once daily, whole-bunch pressed to oak to finish primary and malo ferment. Full pink-salmon hue; seriously savoury framework for the dry, but unmistakable pinot fruit flavours – red cherries blanched in white wine and pomegranate on the finish.
James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion 2020, August 2019

93/100 – It feels soft, it tastes complex. It’s apt to call this different in a good way. It’s bunchy, it’s slipped with sweet raspberried fruit, it’s savoury and smoky and then some. It works simply as a good drink but it gets extra marks for interest.

93/100 – Welcome to the debut Bird on a Wire Rosé, and what a mighty fine entrance it has made. Deliciously savoury with dried herbs and undergrowth flexing some muscle. Bone dry, some watermelon husk and dried red fruit gently roll on. A lick of peppery spices curl around the mouth as a parting gift. Clever Rosé = winning! Drink now.
