2010 Syrah, 95 points
Good colour; a particularly rich and complex full-bodied wine, belying the minimalism of the clever label and 1% addition of marsanne; has multiple layers of ripe black cherry and plum fruit with quality oak woven throughout.
2011 Marsanne, 94 points
Light straw-green; has come through with flying colours, the vibrant white-flower bouquet leading into a supple palate with hints of pear, a wisp of honey and soft acidity, if there is such a thing. Should easily see out 10 years.
2012 Chardonnay, 95 points
Bright green-straw; the complex bouquet suggests wild yeast fermentation, the palate with carefully monitored lees contact; this creates the heart of the wine, a silken net of acidity wrapped around it.
2014 Chardonnay, 95 points
A finely structured wine reflecting the particularly good chardonnay vintage in the Yarra Valley. Nothing has been overplayed, and the wine will grow and grow over the next 5 years, but not lose its shape.
2015 Syrah, 95 points
This wine has it all, pushed further by the positive use of oak, sophisticated winemaking and the great vintage.
